Do you take insurance?
No, I currently I do not accept insurance. I accept payment with major credit cards, cash, or checks. I will update this policy as it changes. I can provide a superbill at your request which you can then submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Consider contacting your insurance company before we meet to see what kind of nutrition services are covered. Sometimes nutrition counseling services will covered, but may need a referral from a physician first.
How does virtual counseling work?
Let's chat in the comfort of your own home! If you think virtual counseling is for you, payment will be made online through a provided link. Once received, will we set up an appointment at a time that works for both of us using a secure tele-health video chat service. You will get the same expert advice and coaching from the comfort of your own home!
What if I really do need to lose weight? Will you help me?
I hear you and I want to help. I have countless stories from clients who have been told over years (decades, even) that they need to lose weight to feel better, improve health conditions, etc.... This typically has lead to them to try diet after diet, exercise frantically, and ultimately, give up when they don't achieve the lasting results they want. Most chronic dieters RE-GAIN all the weight they lost, and a few, gain more than that. I want to help you end this cycle. Prescribing another diet, a calorie limit, is NOT going to do that. When you work with me, we will assess your individual diet, health goals, and barriers. My goal is not a number on the scale, but rather, helping you improve your health and Eat Well for a lifetime.
